Connecticut Nursery

When I was asked to design our friends nursery for their first baby, I was honored!

The design for this room was unique as we decided to blend a traditional vintage vibe with modern touches. Creating a room that feels very warm, inviting, and an overall great space that the baby can grow in to! The couple had beautiful family heirlooms that we included in to the design, as well as coming up with a custom bookshelf that will run across the wall which will also act as additional seating. The wallpaper was already a GO, so it was just a matter of coming up with a color scheme that would bring this room to life.

The Inspiration

A vintage modern mix! Light and airy feel combined with wood and rich colors to bring depth

The Final Design

Our final design was a mix of collected pieces and modern touches, which included handmade items passed down by their family. Like the wooden baby carrier which we will use to double as storage for baby items to be used next to the rocker.
